Visit to Satu-Mare – Romania

In November 2007 three members of staff visited our partner school in Satu-Mare, Romania. Our project is ‘Creativity and Thinking Skills’. The partners spent time thinking about a quality 21st Curriculum that will focus on skills, flexibility independence, creativity and one which will be technology rich.

During the six day visit the partners exchanged ideas and shared practice. Our teachers were treated like VIPS, with meetings arranged with the Vice Mayor and the School Inspectorate.

They said that they were made very welcome and the Romanian teachers could not have made more effort to show them their schools, homes and district.

We are looking forward to returning the hospitality in June, when we host a partnership meeting at Aintree Davenhill
